Honorary Consul for the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Ghana Nicolaas C.M. van Staalduinen is a Ghanaian born in the Netherlands who has a long relationship with Bulgaria.

A businessman with outstanding business credentials. A well respected Ghanaian and former Honorary Consul for Ghana to the Netherlands, and Member of the Board of Directors of the State Enterprises Commission under The office of the President in Ghana.

Honorable Nicolaas van Staalduinen is the former Managing Director of the Ghana Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in Accra and the former Executive Director of the European Business Organisation in Ghana and member of the European Business Organisation World Wide Network representing Ghana.

He is a Fellow of the prestigious Board Room Institute in Ghana and Chairman of the Jury of the Small and Medium Enterprises Award institute under the Ministry of Trade: SMEGA.

He was appointed in 2017 as Honorary Consul for Bulgaria to Ghana by the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and his appointment was approved by parliament in the same year.
